Hoje é aniversário da fabulosa Ituverava! Essa cidade de terra vermelha e gente boa! Ou gente vermelha e terra boa... não me lembro exatamente...

P.s.: Um caso velho: uma prima minha, de Ituverava (que hoje está exilada no Rio de Janeiro), faz aniversário hoje também, dia 10 de março. Quando ela era pequenina, lá em Ituverava, houve uma enorme festa para comemorar o centenário da cidade, com direito a fanfarra, fogos de artifício e discurso... pois bem, não é que meu tio, pai dessa aniversariante de 10 de março, disse que a festa toda era pra ela... foi bonito de ver os olhos da menina apreciando a festa ituveravense, como se estivesse na própria Disneylândia...

Ps: An old story: a cousin of mine, from Ituverava (which is now exiled in Rio de Janeiro), also celebrates her birthday today, March 10th. When she was a little kid, there in Ituverava city, there was a huge party to celebrate the centenary of the town, completed with fanfare, fireworks and politicians speech ... well, her father, my crasy uncle, told the little girl that the entirely party was a gift from him to her... And it was touching to see her shinning eyes enjoying her party, as if it was a private Disneyland...
