By the way: to understand Brazil observe winter in Pitangueiras beach (in Guaruja city) and you will see how the high buildings on the beachfront project their shadow on the narrow strip of sand avoiding people from enjoying their holidays after midday.

It is frightening to note that for the comfort of few (the ones living above the waves and the full-profits constructors), the rest of humanity has been deprived of enjoying the beach all year round.

"Come back in the summer and do not complain" is implied in the claim that Pitangueiras is a bygone era beach, or rather, a beach from the politically incorrect 1950’s, when public areas were taken for private use almost legitimately ... but even now, in 2009, such buildings are built, like the ones being constructed nearby the Guaruja's mall!

Does it mean that we're still living like our parents? I don’t think so. At least, back in that time, they didn’t have to ignore the slums surounding the wooded hills to reach the beach.

Right here begins my small collection of abuse (PCA).
